TLC Family Resource Center

TLC Family Resource Center is a family resource and support agency located in Claremont, New Hampshire, and serving Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties.  The mission of TLC Family is to promote the optimal health and development of New Hampshire children and families.  To that end, TLC strengthens and supports all children, youth, and families with a wide range of free programs, support groups, education, and events.

TLC Family Resource Center has an opportunity for an experienced Executive Director who has a passion for the Claremont NH community and our programs. The ideal candidate will direct and inspire TLC on its growth path and guide our staff in managing our key programs: Family Support Services, Rocking Chair Project, SHINE (Sexual Health Information Network & Education), Rural Outright, Center for Recovery Resources. TLC Family Resource Center supports and strengthens all families, children, and youth in Sullivan and Lower Grafton counties with a wide range of free programs, support groups, education, and events.

We are looking for a leader with the following skills:

Communication: Our executive director will be a great communicator who will lead the way in relationship building and collaboration with the Board of Directors, community leaders, other agencies, medical facilities, colleges and families, and maintain the positive team spirit within the organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills expected.

Adaptability: Adapting to changes in the needs of our families and the community, our executive director will be organized, able to multi-task, resolve challenges, look for efficiencies, expand facilities and footprint, and have a positive outlook on the future of TLC.

Strategic Planning: Looking to the future, our executive director will be forward thinking, an innovator and able to envision, implement, and communicate new ideas, enhancements and strategies. Must value diversity and cultural differences.

Outreach: Our executive director needs to be a connector that is passionate and comfortable with philanthropic outreach, including fundraising and the grant application process, capable of growing new revenue streams, and maintaining strategic partnerships.

Business Acumen: From financial management to human resources, facilities management to governance, the executive director oversees TLC Family Resource Center and reports to the Board and its committees. Our ED sets the example of professionalism, positivity, and dedication.

If you have the requirements above, plus over 5 years of demonstrated executive leadership (preferably as an Executive Director of a non-profit), a bachelors’ degree or higher in social work, child development, business management or similar, and a desire to be part of our life-changing work of providing children and their families a chance to succeed in life through economic, physical, social, and spiritual security, please apply for the position by sending a cover letter and resume to:
