Executive Director

TLC Family Resource Center

TLC Family Resource Center is a family resource and support agency located in Claremont, New Hampshire, and serving Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties.  The mission of TLC Family is to promote the optimal health and development of New Hampshire children and families.  To that end, TLC strengthens and supports all children, youth, and families with a wide range of free programs, support groups, education, and events.

TLC Family Resource Center has provided support and education to families in Sullivan and Grafton Counties, NH, for 27 years. The agency is known for its resiliency and ability to respond to the changing needs of the communities it serves. It is known for the quality of the trained and professional staff. It is known for its collaborations with other agencies, medical facilities, and colleges that help make the programming as up-to-date and relevant as possible. TLC promotes a culture of acceptance, self-empowerment, and openness, striving to create communities that also embody such a culture. In 27 years, the agency has had only two executive directors. One was the founding director who stayed for 22 years, growing the agency to respond to the needs of moms and babies. The current director has been here for five years and has helped continue the expansion of services to more varied family needs. The agency is also working to define its own office needs with the hope to move to a place that more adequately meets the needs of our growing programs. The next executive director will demonstrate the ability to take the agency to the next level of organizational development and continue to stabilize and secure funding for the future, including funding for a new facility. S/he may have experience in moving an agency to a new location and ensuring the public maintains confidence through such a move. S/he will have experience to demonstrate that they are resilient, creative, open, welcoming, and adventuresome, just like TLC Family Resource Center. We welcome applications from people who feel that meet these requirements and who want to lead a wonderful, dedicated, professional, and fun-loving staff. A traditional job description is available at http://www.tlcfamilyrc.org/employment-opportunities.

Interested parties are invited to submit a resume and a cover letter to edsearch@tlcfamilyrc.org or use the Indeed.com portal.

Resumes will be reviewed over the next few months and interviews will happen in early 2020. The position will be filled by June 1, 2020, allowing overlap with the current Executive Director who is retiring June 30. All correspondence is to be done through email. Please do not call or drop by.
