Lobbying Rules and Recent Developments in Washington

Presented by: Independent Sector

Lobbying. Too many charities and foundations are afraid of that word – or so afraid of "breaking the rules" that they just say no. But lobbying can be one of the most important parts of a successful public policy program, so we want you to be armed with the information you need to incorporate lobbying into your policy efforts.

Please join us on Thursday August 8th, from 2-3:15 p.m. ET, for a free, interactive webinar during which we’ll both cover the lobbying rules for 501(c)(3)s, and also provide an update on recent developments on issues that affect the nonprofit sector and the importance of engaging with your representatives in Congress while they are back in their states and districts for the summer work period.

We are pleased to announce that the overview of lobbying rules will be provided by Alex Reid, Associate of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

This webinar is free for staff at IS member organizations. Non-members are welcome to attend for $75.
