AFP-NNE is pleased to present its second annual virtual spring conference, "Fundraising: For The Win", a three-day online conference for fundraisers and development professionals at all stages of their careers. This event was created in response to the need for more online programs and training during the pandemic. It also fills important needs such as affordability and flexibility, which are especially critical for the many small development shops in Northern New England. The diverse mix of topics are informed by feedback we have received from development professionals throughout the year. Presenters reflect a mix of "on the ground" fundraisers, as well as consultants.
The conference will be held over three days with two 1-hour sessions each day, starting the morning of Wednesday, April 6 and concluding the afternoon of Friday, April 8. There will be 15 minutes of informal networking ahead of each program facilitated by an AFP-NNE board member, followed by an hour-long presentation and up to 30 minutes of Q&A/discussion. Attendees can select workshops "a la carte" or register for all six at a discounted rate. Workshops are $25 for AFP members and $40 for non-members. Zoom link(s) will be provided in the confirmation email you receive after registering. We hope you will join us!
The Nonprofit Risk Management Center's 2022 Virtual Risk Summit features a new learning format for nonprofit leaders and industry professionals who support nonprofit missions. This year, three events will take place throughout 2022. Our new format maximizes learning opportunities and flexibility. We invite you to engage in the conference as you would approach a bountiful buffet at your favorite restaurant: choose any and all appetizing sessions and participate live or watch the session recordings. Unlike a restaurant where packing up buffet items 'to go' is frowned upon, we want and expect you to take everything you learn back to your nonprofit. Each conference day begins at 10:00 am EDT.
April 5 - Insurance Fundamentals
July 20 - Risk Management Fundamentals
October 13 - Advanced Risk Management and ERM
Session recordings will be available to registrants for 30 days after each event concludes.
Insurance is a common but often confusing method for financing risk! Nonprofit leaders attending our Insurance Fundamentals Risk Summit can expect to come away with insights into the insurance industry, a deeper understanding of the structure and content of their insurance policies, and practical tips to maximize the relationship with an insurance agent or broker.
Make this your year to master your insurance portfolio and satisfy your appetite for growing your risk knowledge and know-how!
The Risk Summit is sponsored by Chubb, Munich Re, AHT Insurance, Philadelphia Insurance Companies, Hub and Great American Insurance Group.

Bad stuff happens. Your organization can get hacked. And you might even be the one to unknowingly open the door. How your organization responds to a data breach, device loss or compromised email account will either minimize or compound the impact of the event. In this power-packed session we will review the current cyber threat environment, discuss components of an effective incident response plan, and facilitate an interactive group exercise to simulate the decisions that need to be made during a crisis.
Learning Objectives
You will leave this webinar with tools to address your questions and provide insights on best practices.
Questions can be asked the day of the event using the live chat feature.
The NHBCA's signature event brings together business and arts professionals from around New Hampshire to honor individuals, businesses and cultural organizations for their impact on the Granite State's arts and cultural scene. The creative culinary process is serving as a muse for the 38th Annual Arts Awards Gala.
The in-person celebration takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester on Wednesday, May 11th. The event kicks off with a networking reception from 5:00-6:00 featuring artistic hors d'oeuvres created by renowned chefs, including "Chopped" Champion and owner of Stages Evan Hennessey, Lee Frank of Otis Restaurant and Chris Viaud of Greenleaf.
In addition to the seated dinner and awards ceremony, the evening will showcase artistic excellence with live music and dance presented by Performance Sponsor Joan Brodsky-NH Dance Collaborative. The evening will culminate with specialty desserts created by our guest chefs.
Your ticket also includes a cookbook containing the chef's recipes from the evening paired with artwork by New Hampshire artists.
Doors open at 4:30.
