The Concord Chorale performs “The Song Am I,” at their 45th anniversary year holiday concert. Three concerts feature joyous seasonal songs for chorus and youth choir with Riverside Brass, percussion, organ, and an audience participation finale. Soloists are from within the folds of the Chorale.
The program includes an upbeat “Magnificat” from celebrated St. Paul’s School composer Nicholas White, a fresh look at traditional carols by New England composer Gwyneth Walker, and a new Cantata from esteemed old friend Kevin Siegfried. These local composers are expected to be in attendance at various concerts throughout the weekend. In addition, a Christmas Cantata by Daniel Pinkham, plus the charm of Abbie Betinis and Stephen Chatman all combine to inspire joy, hope and peace.
Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for students/seniors, and available from Chorale members, at Bona Fide Green Goods and Merrimack County Savings Bank, both on Main St, Concord, or by calling 463-5504.
