Nonprofit Management Higher Education

Increasing specialization, a demand for more higher education and a new need to worry about the bottom line are all challenges facing job seekers today. Nonprofits have grown from small organizations to a sizable chunk of the job market.  This has inspired the development of an increasing number of higher education programs for those who are choosing to dedicate themselves to careers in the nonprofit sector.  

Foundation for Seacoast Health Grants $317,600 to Families First

Portsmouth – The Foundation for Seacoast Health has granted $317,600 to Families First Health and Support Center, the Seacoast’s community health center. The grant will support general operations – including health, dental and family programs – and special projects such as bi-monthly luncheons for seniors held at the Community Campus, cervical cancer screenings, and a group to help families improve their diet and exercise habits.

Hannah Grimes Center awarded first Champion in Action of 2013!

Under the category of strengthening communities, the Hannah Grimes Center received the first Champion in Action award of 2013, presented by Citizens Bank and WMUR-TV. The prize includes a $35,000 grant and numerous PSAs on WMUR amounting to thousands of dollars in advertising hours.

The Children’s Alliance of NH Receives Grant to Support Ongoing Operations
