GrantStation's Fall 2014 State of Grantseeking Report

GrantStation released the Fall 2014 State of Grantseeking™ Report, which analyzes funding trends for more than 1,400 organizations to help you be more strategic in your grantseeking. Key findings include:

  • Despite 70% of respondents receiving the same or more awards as the previous year, the total amount of grant funding continues to decline.
  • While the Federal government continues to give more awards and more commonly be the largest source of funding, the number of organizations reporting that private foundations were the source of their largest award rose 15% from last year.
  • 80% of respondents expect to receive the same or more awards in the following six months, despite reporting increases in competiton for awards and difficulty adhering to funder specific practices and requirements.
