Excellence in Governance Certificate Program: Ethics and Accountability in the 21st Century Nonprofit Board

Nonprofit boards have many roles to play as stewards of the organization, but none is more important than assuring ethical behavior and providing sound fiscal oversight. Join us for this four-part certificate program as we explore real-life applications of ethics and best practices in the nonprofit boardroom. Perfect for new board members or experienced board leaders wanting to brush up on new approaches.

Facilitated by: Mary Ellen Jackson, Consultant, Mary Ellen Jackson Consulting

Sessions will run from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM, with a complimentary networking lunch following the program from 12:00–1:00 PM.

Session 4: Governance in Action

In the final session, we will bring together a panel of experienced board members who have “been there, done that.” They will share their insights and take questions from participants. This will be your opportunity to hear from veteran board members and ask them your burning questions.Other Sessions in the Series

Funding for the Center for Ethics' "Ethics in Governance Forum" comes from a $2 million endowment created by the N.H. Secretary of State’s Office and the Center for Public Responsibility and Corporate Citizenship awarded to Saint Anselm College in 2013. The endowment was created from a settlement reached between the New Hampshire Securities Bureau and Tyco International, LTD in 2002 and is administered by the University of New Hampshire Foundation.
