POSTPONED: Nurturing a Culture of Volunteer Engagement

Please note: This event will not be held on March 18 and we are working to reschedule a new date, which will be posted here soon and communicated to all event registrants. If you have questions, please email
As a nonprofit professional, you have the potential to be a strong influence and change agent to help your organization down the path of mission-fulfillment by strategically leveraging volunteers and their talents. However, many of us encounter obstacles along this journey.
In this session, we will explore what it means to have a culture of engagement, learn proven paths to nurturing one, and discover models for approaching our work that lead to greater success. You will leave with a personal action plan to build leadership support, influence peers, and lead by example.
Our discussions will explore the following questions:
  • What is organizational culture?
  • What is a culture of engagement?
  • What are the benefits of fostering a culture of engagement?
  • What are some proven paths to achieving (or sustaining) a culture of engagement?

*This workshop is ideal for nonprofit board and staff leaders, as well as volunteer coordinators and managers.
