Does a Merger Make Sense? Considering Your Future

Given the challenges currently facing nonprofits in their programs, finances and operations, collaborative strategies have never been more important.  Organizations across the sector are demonstrating how highly integrated partnerships -- ranging from consolidation of administrative functions up through full merger -- can maximize efficiency and enhance mission impact. 

Organizational leaders – both board members and executive staff -- have an important role to play in contributing to the development of successful partnerships.  How do we begin these conversations and evaluate the best options for our nonprofits?

This session will outline the wide range of possibilities and describe various ways in which nonprofit leaders can stimulate and support partnership discussions. Drawing upon case studies and direct experience, this webinar will provide concrete examples of how organizations approached decisions about partnerships and mergers to strategically position their organization for the future.
