Lunch & Learn - Tech-Box Series: Cloud Computing and Computing Infrastructure

The Tech-Box Series—a collaboration between the NH Center for Nonprofits and the experts at Acapella Technologies; Concord Analytics, LLC; and Pivot Creative—is a series of lunch discussions that will help you run your non-profit more intelligently, securely, and effectively through the integration of technology, marketing, and analytics. Lunch will be provided. 

Session 3: Cloud Computing and Computing Infrastructure

The 3rd session of the Tech-Box Series will focus on the technologies used to power your organization. We'll discuss the differences between on-site and cloud computing and why modern technology infrastructure is vital to your non-profit's future success.

About the Presenters

Chris Duhaime

Chris is the owner and Creative Director of Pivot Creative. As a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Chris has been able to successfully move his small agency from the basement of his home to a beautiful mill style office space in downtown Manchester. His award-winning creative agency has proudly represented B2B, B2C and Non-Profit organizations throughout the country. From branding to websites, Pivot has successfully launched regional and national campaigns that have resulted in impressive results for all of their clients. An active member on the Board of Directors of Best Buddies New Hampshire, Chris is always looking for an excuse to give back to the community. He currently resides in Hooksett with his beautiful wife Jade, his two dogs Fenway and Charlie, and their cat Chowder.

Dan Walsh

Dan is a founding partner of Concord Analytics, LLC. A seasoned data scientist with 10 years in the healthcare sector, Dan earned his masters in data science and analytics at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to founding the firm, Dan worked in private healthcare business and operational consulting. From 2013 to 2017, Dan founded and coordinated the New Hampshire Med Bank, New Hampshire’s only charitable pharmacy which collected and dispensed over $300,000 in medications to patients who could not afford their medications throughout the state. Dan managed this program along with working on other healthcare projects at the Foundation for Healthy Communities. Dan is a native of Concord, New Hampshire but has lived and worked around the country before establishing Concord Analytics. 

Matt Mercier

Matt founded the company that would become Acapella Technologies in 1996. The company began as a web design company, and he got many businesses their start on the internet in the original NH Cybermall. Over the years Acapella Technologies has not only grown but expanded its offerings. Today they are a full-service technology services company. They do all of the work that a full time IT department does for large businesses, but do so in service of small and medium sized business all over southern NH and the Merrimack Valley.

Matt does a great deal of philanthropic work. He is a Hoffman-Haas Fellow of the NH Center for Nonprofits.  He is a Rotarian, and has served as a volunteer for or as a board member of the following organizations: Home Health and Hospice Care, St Joseph Community Services, Rotary Clubs of Nashua and Hollis NH, The Children’s’ Scholarship Fund of NH, The Founders Academy in Manchester, The Barbershop Harmony Society, The Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Annual Lock Up for MD, and Manchester Christian Church.

Matt is a lifelong NH resident having been born at St Joseph Hospital in Nashua. His roots run deep and in all directions, as his dad and his two sons were born in the same hospital. Matt graduated from Hollis Area High School and earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Public Affairs and Journalism from Keene State College. Matt has two grown sons, Michael and James. He lives in Hooksett NH with his amazing wife Gina and their faithful dog Dunklee.
