Balancing Efficiency and Effectiveness

How to Get the Most Out of Your Day and Be a Better, Happier Leader

Today’s nonprofit workplace is busier than ever. The pace of our lives is often frantic, with a new interruption every few minutes. It feels like there is no time to stop and organize it all.

As a nonprofit leader, you give a lot of yourself, working hard to balance all the needs of board, staff, clients and donors. How often do you say to yourself, "I wish I had more time?" How many days do you go home exhausted and depleted? How can we all shift from being busy to being effective?

Join us for a workshop to explore tips to tap into the energy and talents of your whole team through delegation, setting priorities and focusing on your mission. Topics to be covered include:

  • Setting priorities that connect with your mission and vision
  • Using mentoring and delegating as strategies to enable you to focus on what you do best
  • Increasing your effectiveness through improved life-balance
  • Preventing burn-out by fostering resilience
