Two NH Nonprofit Organizations Recognized for Exceptional Management Practices

CATCH Neighborhood Housing and Cornerstone VNA have been named the 2014 recipients of The Corporate Fund Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management. The Corporate Fund is an initiative of leading New Hampshire corporations in partnership with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

The award is given in honor of Walter J. Dunfey, a noted New Hampshire businessman and philanthropist, who was the founding member of The Corporate Fund. For over 30 years, The Corporate Fund has presented the award annually to nonprofit organizations demonstrating exemplary management practices.

CATCH Neighborhood Housing of Concord, NH offers a full spectrum of housing services in Merrimack County. CATCH prides itself on creating innovative housing solutions for low- or moderate- income individuals and families.

Cornerstone VNA, in Rochester, NH, is a home, health and hospice agency currently serving Rockingham, Strafford, Belknap and Carroll Counties in NH and York County in Maine. Cornerstone VNA uses the latest technology to provide the most highly skilled nursing, rehabilitative therapies, social work, and support services in their service area.

About the Corporate Fund
The Corporate Fund is an initiative of leading New Hampshire corporations in partnership with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Since 1982, The Corporate Fund has provided more than $4 million in grants, training, and technical assistance to improve the management and effectiveness of New Hampshire’s nonprofit sector. Current members include: C&S Wholesale Grocers, Fidelity Investments, Hitchiner Manufacturing, Lincoln Financial Group, Markem-Imaje and Northeast Delta Dental.
