NH Center for Nonprofits Announces New Board Members

The NH Center for Nonprofits (the Center) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members who were recently elected to its Board of Directors. Joining the Board are Tom Cronin and Thomas Blonski. 

Tom Cronin is the Director of Government Relations for the University System and the University of New Hampshire. He is responsible for developing and executing public policy priorities and strategy for the state's public four-year colleges and universities while building and strengthening relationships with government officials, agencies, and other relevant organizations, associations and advocacy groups.  Tom is a graduate of Saint Anselm College, where he majored in Politics with concentrations in Public Policy and Communications, and earned a Masters in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He serves on the Board of Directors for Great Bay Kids Company, a nonprofit provider of early childhood education and school age enrichment programs serving over 600 families in the greater-Seacoast area. 

Thomas Blonski is the president and chief executive officer of Catholic Charities New Hampshire.  In this position, Tom leads the mission of Catholic Charities to meet the increasing needs of the poor and vulnerable of New Hampshire through expanded social services. A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, Tom also holds an MBA with a specialization in healthcare from the University of Connecticut. He is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire, Leadership Manchester, Leadership Seacoast, Leadership Nashua, and an active member of Manchester Rotary. He currently serves on the New Hampshire Supreme Court’s Character and Fitness Committee, is a member of the Executive Committee for Diocesan Directors for Catholic Charities USA and serves on the public policy committees of the Diocese of Manchester and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

Their leadership will be an asset to the organization as we continue our work to elevate the visibility and capacity of the state’s nonprofit sector.”
