New Year, New CEO!

January will be a little brighter at the Center as Kathleen Reardon joins our team as CEO, allowing Interim CEO Mike Ostrowski to dive back into retirement.

"We are delighted to have Kathleen join us. She is a well-respected leader with a distinguished track record as a champion for NH communities," states Grace Mattern, Board President of the Center. "She is widely regarded as a strategic thinker and solutions-oriented team player by both the nonprofit and for profit sectors. Kathleen's combination of knowledge of the nonprofit landscape, understanding of the issues facing our state, and her ability to forge public-private partnerships made her an ideal candidate."

Kathleen is familiar to many in the nonprofit sector through her work at Citizens Bank, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Director of Corporate Giving. In addition, she has served on boards for many organizations throughout the years including the NH Center for Nonprofits, the Capitol Center for the Arts, the Northern New England Housing Investment Fund, and the Women's Business Center.

Prior to her work at Citizens Bank, Kathleen held a variety of public relations and development positions in nonprofit organizations, and was appointed by Governor Lynch as a member of the NH Economic Development Advisory Council in 2008 and reappointed by Governor Hassan in 2014. She is a graduate of the Leadership NH Class of 2007 and was named to the Union Leader's Forty Under 40 in 2004. Ms. Reardon was also honored with the Douglas Eldridge Award for Volunteer Service by the Seacoast United Way.

Please join the Center staff and board members in welcoming Kathleen. As of January 4th, you can reach Kathleen at kreardon@nhnonprofits.org or (603) 225-1947.
