NH Secretary of State Revocation Letter Correction

The NH Secretary of State has issued a correction to the nonprofit entity revocation letters they sent at the beginning of the year. Below is the full text of the correction letter:

Important Notice Regarding Nonprofit Entities

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

A letter of revocation was mailed to the Nonprofit entities dated January 1, 2016. This letter contained a paragraph that read as follows;

The nonprofit corporation may be revived by filing a certificate of revival and attending the scheduled public hearing. The total fees to revive the nonprofit corporation at this time would be $50.00 revival fee and $25.00 return fee for 2015.

The paragraph should have read as follows;

The nonprofit corporation may be revived by filing a certificate of revival. The total fees to revive the nonprofit corporation at this time would be $50.00 revival fee and $25.00 return fee for 2015.

NOTE: A public hearing is only required for a nonprofit corporation that is filing for a certificate of revival more than three years from the date of its dissolution.
