Board Training Bill Killed on Senate Floor

The full Senate confirmed the Public Works and Municipal Affairs Committee's recommendation that SB 17, a bill to create state mandated board training for nonprofits that receive over $250,000 in public funding, was inexpedient to legislate; effectively killing the bill for this legislative session.

This is the 3rd time a state mandated board training bill has been killed in the NH legislature. Nonprofit leaders continue to provide excellent education for policy makers.
