The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as and Events and Annual Campaign Coordinator. The Events Coordinator will assist in raising awareness of the NH Food Bank and manage other responsibilities as assigned to ensure smooth operations of the Development Office. The position also performs administrative duties as needed.

  • 3-5 years of managerial development experience working with a non-profit
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of computers and various software packages (Raiser’s Edge experience is a plus)
  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed
  • Able to coordinate with a variety of entities on a single project and ensure that all details of a project are professional and in keeping with the NH Food Bank brand
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations
  • Capable of functioning independently and possessing a positive and helpful attitude
  • Assume responsibility for all fundraising efforts set forth by the organization
  • Assist in strategic departmental and communications planning
  • Oversee direct mail campaign and coordinate with direct mail vendor
  • Work with Director of Development on signature events to be held on an annual basis with a goal of donor cultivation and acquisition
  • Assist the Director of Development in soliciting corporate sponsorship for special events and as unrestricted revenue for the NH Food Bank
  • Develop relationships with existing and prospective sponsors to achieve revenue goals
  • Identify potential corporate sponsors for special events and general food bank support
  • Assist with the development of a donor recognition plan for individual donors
  • Work with the Director of Development to cultivate major donors and prospects through personal communications, setting up meetings with the Executive Director and/or Development Director and establish follow-up procedures
  • Assist with the development of a volunteer recognition plan and maintain department and database files
  • Speak on behalf of the food bank at various events
  • Support the Director of Development as needed
