ACERT Enhancement Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator serves as the coordinator for the Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team Enhancement Project (AEP) and leads all AEP activities within Manchester, as contracted through the City of Manchester Police Department US Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) grant, and will coordinate implementation in accordance with the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program Grant application and notice of award.The AEP Coordinator works in close collaboration with the City of Manchester Police and Fire Departments, YWCA NH, and other community-based service providers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of grant activities. Note: This position is based out of the Manchester Police Department. This position is grant-funded through September 30, 2020 with the expectation that the Project Coordinator will seek funds for sustainability of the role and project as a whole.
Job Relationships: 
Responsible to the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Children with accountability to the City of Manchester Police Department. Responsible for oversight of Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) and supervision of the ACERT Family Advocate.

Responsibilities and Abilities: 
This position is responsible for management of the day-to-day operations of the AEP initiative. Key duties include:

1.Coordinate planning and implementation activities with Manchester Police Department, Manchester Fire Department, YWCA NH, Manchester Community Health Center, and other community-based partner agencies.
2.Communicate regularly with appropriate partners.
3.Work closely with the DOJ BJA training and technical assistance provider to:
1.Identify the needs of the community, including collecting and analyzing administrative and overdose data.
2.Work with project staff to design an appropriate outreach and prevention strategy, based on the data
3.Convene regular stakeholder discussions surrounding project implementation
4.Respond to requests for data, reports, and information about AEP.
5.Ensure continued project implementation and redirection, if needed.
4.Facilitate completion of a Strategic Plan and associated work plans.
5.Assist in the development and execution of subcontracts with the selected agencies.
6.Promote the mission of AEP through upholding standards of cultural competence, the system of care principles, family involvement, and integrative practices.
7.Assist in budget management and tracking.
8.Provide data for performance reporting and evaluation of effectiveness.
9.Work with the local system regarding the implementation of evidence-based practices and workforce development according to fidelity measures.
10.Collaborate with data and evaluation.
11.Promote the project and its theory of change with others.
12.Attend and participate in other meetings as directed.
13.Maintain sensitivity to the cultural diversity of population served.
14.Maintain client age-related competence.
15.Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public or human service administration or a human services programmatic field, preferably with coursework in human services planning, and two years of human service experience, one of which must have been in human service program planning. Experience in management of contracts and grants.
