Community Bridges is a leader in the delivery of and advocacy for innovative supports to individuals who experience intellectual disabilities and their families.

A Family in the Self-Directed Services (SDS) Program at Community Bridges is looking for a person on a part-time basis who will assist a friendly young woman with a developmental disability to access her community for 25 hours/week in the Manchester area. The idea applicant is a patient and kind person who is willing to take the initiative to help the young woman find ways to achieve her goals, find community events to participate in, exercise regularly, plan time with friends, and achieve success at her paid job. The applicant must have his/her own vehicle and auto insurance in order to safely transport the woman to different locations in the community, as well as to Concord for her job. This position will be supervised by the Family, with Community Bridges as the employer of record.

Hours are:

25 hours/week; 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, hours somewhat flexible

Rate of pay: $13.00/hour

Benefits: Paid Time Off


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a criminal records background check
  • Safe and reliable transportation, valid NH driver’s license, acceptable DMV background check
  • Proof of automobile insurance in the amount of $100,000 / $300,000
