Street Outreach Worker/Drop-in Center Staff


Empowering people of all ages through an array of human services and advocacy.

As a Street Outreach Worker you will work with a team to provide prevention, outreach, crisis intervention, intensive case management, support services, and aftercare to homeless and runaway youth ages 12-22 as well as to manage and supervise the Youth Resource Center – Drop-in. Work with youth to build trusting relationships, reduce and prevent sexual exploitation, and improve community awareness. Provide needs assessments, survival aid and basic needs services, intensive case management, and referrals as the first point of contact for homeless and runaway youth on the street, in the community, and in the Youth Resource Center – Drop-in. BA in social work or related field with minimum one-year experience working with youth required. Seeking someone with an energetic, outgoing personality, who can work a flexible schedule, including some evenings. Must be able to work independently and be a team player. Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, time management skills, motivation, and willingness to think outside the box a must. The ideal candidate will be able to build positive, collaborative relationships in the community, and have strong written and face to face communication skills. The chosen candidate will also be required to submit to a criminal background, motor vehicle record check and have auto insurance that must meet company standards.
