IT Supervisor

Concord Regional VNA

Job Duties:

New opportunity for a Nurse, OT or PT with a technology and project management background to supervise IT staff and oversee IT project management. Responsibilities include: management of software implementations (clinical and non-clinical) which includes installation, testing and education. Also provides technology support and work flow, process analysis.

  • Project Management: Manages system upgrades to include project management, project analysis, testing, defect resolution, planning, implementation and training of staff. Uses project management principles to insure proper planning, communication and implementation. Coordinates with Concord Hospital Staff. 
  • Work flow: Provides workflow analysis and recommendations to insure that technology is being used to is fullest extent. 


  • BA/BS degree in clinical discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing).
  • Experience working with technology application testing and implementation. 
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred. 
  • Experience using project management principles and processes. 
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience. 

Work Schedule: Full-time, salary exempt; Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Analytical skills - ability to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. Ability to analyze date and make decisions that affect projects on a regular basis
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills (ability to prioritize daily work in a prescribed order that promotes efficiency, timeliness and accuracy)
  • Advanced Excel skills and Access skills
  • Ability to develop and write training and educational materials 
  • Ability to present technical information in an educational setting
