Clinical Case Manager, Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT)

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health Center (GNMHC) has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders.  We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

We have a fulltime opening for an IDDT Clinical Case Manager.  This position will provide services to individuals who have co-occurring severe mental illness and substance use disorders. The IDDT philosophy is that recovery occurs within the context of daily living. This is an outreach position.

The primary service goal is to interrupt the cycle of relapsing mental illness that can result in frequent hospitalizations, episodic or continuous substance abuse, homelessness and difficulties within the legal system. Evidenced Based Practices such as Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment are expected treatments.  Service provision will be tailored to individual patient need and may include but not be limited to individual and group treatment tools such as Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Medication Supports, Family Supports, and Crisis Intervention Services.

A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or other related field is required. Consideration will be given to candidates who are within six months of completing their degree requirements to graduate. At least two years of experience working with people diagnosed with co-occurring severe mental illness and substance use disorders is required. Candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, be comfortable with outreach work, be able to work independently, and exercise sound judgement.

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program and offers competitive salaries and comprehensive employee benefits. Apply today!
