Mayhew Program Receives Liconln Financial Foundation Grant

The Mayhew Program has received a $5,000 grant from the Lincoln Financial Foundation to provide 233 at-risk New Hampshire boys with residential summer programming and school year mentoring.

Ribbon Cutting at West Side Neighborhood Health Center

Mayor Ted Gatsas did the honors at the ribbon cutting on September 8 for the West Side Neighborhood Health Center, which is now part of Manchester Community Health Center (MCHC). The Mayor noted that many people on the West Side of Manchester are going to be able to walk to the West Side Neighborhood Health Center.

Manchester Community Health Center Receives Award for Quality

In August Manchester Community Health Center (MCHC) received an award of $214,000 from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). A total of $950,000 was awarded to 11 health centers in New Hampshire to invest in quality improvement, building upon their achievements in providing high-quality comprehensive care.

Child and Family Services Awarded Grant from Eastern Bank

Child and Family Services received a $10,000 award from Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation’s “Targeted Grant” program. This award will support family/mental health counseling and home based support programs that help families through crises and to regain resiliency.
