The idea of “collaboration” has meant many different things to many different people, but as we travel through these chaotic times, the promise of real, true collaboration seems to be edging closer. As groups begin to rally around a shared purpose or vision, collaborations are taking root in New Hampshire.

"Staying centered on what the work is together, rather than on single identities, transforms the tension of belonging and individuality into energetic and resilient communities."
- Wheatley, Finding Our Way: Leadership for Uncertain Times

In New Hampshire, we are seeing community, nonprofit, business and government leaders convene at the same table to forge “real” collaborative approaches to long-term problems. During this session, join four nonprofit board and staff leaders - Caroline Hollister, Carol Batchelder, Rob Riley and Joe Short - as they share stories of how Arts Alive and the Northern Forest Center have been part of ongoing, fruitful collaborative projects.

Facilitator Jennifer Goodman will add her reflections from the NH Preservation Alliance’s collaborative efforts and engage the audience in an exploration of what a collaboration looks like when it is working.
