The New Hampshire Conflict Resolution Association (NHCRA) is a statewide organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the practice and public understanding of peaceable and effective conflict resolution. Our membership is comprised of a variety of conflict resolution practitioners including but not limited to mediators, educators, neutral evaluators, health care professionals, arbitrators and attorneys. Any person practicing or interested in the field of conflict resolution may become a general member.
We offer training to dispute resolution professionals through half-day and full day workshops on various topics. Prior workshops have focused on ethics, screening for and working with domestic violence, working through impasse and being a good mentor. NHCRA also tracks legislation of interest to dispute resolution professionals and provides that information to our members. We strive to keep our members informed of developments that could affect their work and practices. We have recently established networking groups in several areas of the state. These informal groups of people interested in dispute resolution provide opportunities to be exposed to the work of others and learn together. These groups are informal and are open to anyone interested in dispute resolution, not just our members. Some of these groups have facilitated discussions on topics of interest to attendees. Other meetings afford an opportunity for colleagues to interact with each other informally. For more information about future events and programs please visit our website at www.nhcra.org. |
