theatre KAPOW explores the truths of human experience through the passion and electricity of live theatre. tKAPOW produces the best dramatic works from across ages and cultures to inspire and challenge both artists and audience.
theatre KAPOW began in the summer of 2008 and was officially incorporated in the State of New Hampshire in February of 2009. The four founding members of tKAPOW came together in a common desire to create great theatre starting with great dramatic literature. By producing works of the highest caliber and of recognized literary value, tKAPOW is a resource for educators on both the presentation and the study of these works.
tKAPOW produces four shows each season in the Greater Manchester area. To further appreciation and understanding of dramatic literature, tKAPOW offers discussion sessions after performances, and classroom visits for high school and college educators and students.
tKAPOW intentionally performs in very intimate settings. Although shows are usually performed at the 900-seat Stockbridge theatre, the audience is seated on stage with the actors. It is the connection between audience and artist that we consider paramount.
