The ARK Church of God was established June 1, 2008
Our ministries include the Karenangela Carter Memorial Food Pantry, A Clothes Closet and the Robert Plourde Memorial Lending Library.
OUR MISSION
To love the people of Manchester and the state of New Hampshire into a relationship with Jesus Christ and to give away what god has given us.
OUR VISION
Consider a group of people from all walks of life who have surrendered, been transformed and who love god and others. They are joined together through their love of god and have embraced the idea that it is not about them, but all about Jesus. They are transfixed by his story and his heart for their city. They are seedplanters and firestarters, they bring hope and give grace as they have received. They are not afraid to be fools for Christ. Both old and young are dreamers. They bind together with anyone who tells the story of Jesus. They give power to the poor, strength to the weak, love the outcast and search out the lost. We serve together, play together, worship together and live life together. Our city will change because god has sent us. We are those people. We truly believe that small things done with great love will change the world.
Since August of 2009 through our Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and Community meals we have been able to provide food and clothing to over 800 people.
In 2009 we partnered with One Warm Coat and Old Navy Stores in a winter coat and winter wear drive. We were able to distribute over 800 articles to the people of our community.
