 Copper Cannon Camp

Since 1963, Copper Cannon Camp has been providing a free summer camp to New Hampshire's low income youth. Over 20,000 children have had a chance to experience the wonders of the outdoors, positive adult role models and three nutritious meals a day while at camp. For many, this one week experience can be life changing.

Copper Cannon Camp offers programming for children eight through seventeen  including a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for kids age sixteen and a Junior Counselor (JC) internship for kids age seventeen. It keeps teens engaged through traditional summer camp programs, backpacking programs and teen leadership opportunities.

Throughout the year, Copper Cannon Camp's 128 acre facility in the White Mountains is used by schools, youth groups and families. Its low and high ropes courses, and rustic, yet comfortable facilities provide an excellent  base for growth and exploration.

Copper Cannon Camp completed its forty-seventh summer. Over 560 youth were in attendance representing 76 different cities and towns in New Hampshire. These numbers included 110 children who spent a week at Copper Cannon Camp through Operation Purple Camp: a free summer camp for children whose parents are serving in any branch of the military.
