Collaboration Key to SuccessOne of the promises a
multi-tenant, nonprofit facility such as the McConnell Community Center provides is that groups will work together for the greater good. When the first Dover City Council appointed Steering Committee developed the vision for McConnell in 2004, that promise was a driving force. Happily, the vision has become reality as city agencies, nonprofit tenants, and a host of community groups and organizations have found that being together leads to working together.

Freecycle: An Easy Way to Recycle Unwanted Items
The
Freecycle Network™ is a nonprofit movement of people who are giving
(& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. The Network provides
individuals and non-profits an electronic forum to "recycle" unwanted
items and promote waste reduction. New Hampshire has 28 local groups.
