 Working It Out - NHPR

The NH Center for Nonprofits is encouraging nonprofit board and staff leaders from around the state to take advantage of a new online tool being offered by NH Public Radio. By using the Working It Out website, leaders in the nonprofit sector are able to let people across the state know how the economy is impacting the services nonprofits provide to the community.

Working It Out is a project of New Hampshire Public Radio in collaboration with The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. NHPR is covering the changing economy in its programs and reports.  Through this online tool, it gathers community observations about the economy as we experience it, whether things are going well or poorly. NHPR then uses those stories to shape its coverage in these challenging times.  It is an oral history gathering tool, not an opinion gathering tool.

This is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of nonprofits, issues impacting them and the communities they serve. It is also is an opportunity to provide a community discussion board for those living with the results of the economy’s impacts on nonprofits. Working It Out is also interested in stories about people who come up with creative solutions and responses to the change happening all around us.

Please consider exploring this new tool.  If you choose to participate, please add "NH Center for Nonprofits" and “nonprofit” to the keywords so the nonprofit network can easily share postings.
