Be on the Lookout for this Important Survey and Participate!
In approximately three weeks the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) will launch a groundbreaking study on the issues surrounding state government contracts to nonprofits for services to their communities. A sampling of nonprofits in each state will be asked to participate in a survey which will inform this important study. Please be looking for this survey in your mail boxes as a high NH response rate will provide us and the project with valuable information for the report. Please let everyone in your organization that might receive the survey know about this so they don’t overlook its importance!
If you do not receive a survey but want to weigh in, you are invited to contact Chris Conkey (cconkey@councilofnonprofits.org) to provide any information about your experiences with government contracts and grants – late payments, late contracts, changes in terms, as well as positive experiences so they can be replicated elsewhere.
Funded through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, NCN in partnership with the Urban Institute will develop the results of the survey into a final report which will be shared with all state association members across America. As part of your membership with the NH Center for Nonprofits you are also members of NCN. Thank you for your participation in this important project. |
