Portsmouth, NH - TD Banknorth, through the TD Charitable Foundation, recently donated $10,000 to Women's Business Center as part of the bank's commitment to giving back to the community.
 
The funds will help the organization expand its educational programs. The development and implementation of a comprehensive statewide educational program will help serve the growing membership and offer more classes at more locations.

About the Women's Business Center
The Women's Business Center, is a non-profit organization established in 1995, to support entrepreneurial women as they begin and grow their businesses. The WBC grew out of a series of seminars held in the 1990's that were designed to help women start their own businesses. The WBC is physically located in Portsmouth but offers programs and services across the region of New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts and southern Maine. The Women's Business Center is the only women's organization in New Hampshire that is backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
