Concord, NH—Nancy Bartlett, of Concord, received the Kay Sidway Award at a recent Parent Friend Program fundraiser held by Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association at St. Paul’s School Rectory. The fundraiser, featuring remarks by Suzanne Boulter, MD, included a live and silent auction and raised approximately $32,000 for the Concord Regional VNA Parent Friend Program.
The Kay Sidway Award recognizes individuals who devote themselves to the education, nurturing and well being of families. Bartlett was recognized for her role in the development of the direction of the Concord Boys & Girls Club, her 20+ years of passion and commitment for a safe place for youth, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and her helping kids by serving as a Cub Scouts den mother and transporting children and parents to the Child Health Clinics of Concord Regional VNA.

The Parent Friend Program of Concord Regional VNA serves families who need support and guidance in parenting. The program provides opportunities for families by helping them establish and reach goals and access community supports. The program is free of charge and is limited only by the amount of contributions to the program. Currently, approximately 60 Concord-area families are being helped through the program. |
