Exemplifying the extraordinary achievements of nonprofits in our state,
awards for Business of the Decade where presented to 3 nonprofits at
the May 12th Business NH Magazine awards gala in Manchester. In
addition, the honor of Business Leader of the Decade went to nonprofit
businessman, Thomas Raffio of Northeast Delta Dental.
Larry Gammon, President of Easter Seals NH praised board members, staff and long-term supporters of the organization for their team work and dedication as he accept the award for Business of the Year under the Nonprofit/Education category at the event. Linda Harvey, Executive Director of the Laconia Area Community Land Trust accepted the award of Business of the Decade for her organization under the category of Construction/Real Estate/Engineering. Rounding out the honors for nonprofits was the Cheshire Medical Center Dartmuth-Hitchock in Keene. Accepting the award for the hospital was Arthur Nichols, Chief Administrative Officer and John Schlegelmilch, Chief Medical Officer. |
