 New Hampshire Women's Lobby Welcomes New Board Members

 New Hampshire Women's Lobby (NHWL) recently announced the addition of two new board members as well as the election of new officers to bothe the NHWL and NHWA boards.

Jennifer Durant
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Anselm College, Jennifer provided services and support to women and children who were homeless due to domestic violence for over 3 years.  In May 2006 she earned a Master's in Sociological Practice at California State University San Marcos.  Since 2006 Jennifer has been an adjunct instructor at Saint Anselm College, where she currently teaches Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of the Family, and Sociology of Family Violence.
 
She is also the Public Policy Specialist for the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (NHCADSV), where she focuses on legislation that pertains to children and families and economic justice issues as they relate to domestic and sexual violence in the state.
 
Linda Quinn
 Linda Quinn is an Account Executive with Davis & Towle Insurance Group with more than 30 years experience in the insurance industry (20 years working with nonprofits).   She is a licensed insurance broker, and also holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor.  Linda graduated of Antioch New England's Institute for Nonprofit Management, and also participated in New England College's MS in Nonprofit Leadership program.  
 
Linda is a new member of the NH Women's Lobby/NH Women's Alliance board of directors.  She has also served on the board of Goffstown's UpReachTherapeutic Riding Center since 2008 , and is a member of the Advisory Committee for Leadership Teacher's Scholastic Entrepreneurial Student Leadership Challenge.  Other volunteer activities include her work as fundraiser and Planning Committee Co-Chair for the 2008 Nonprofit Risk Management Conference attended by more than 100 nonprofit leaders, volunteer managers and others.  She has also been an annual workshop presenter at the Governor's Conference on Volunteerism since 1990, and is also a proud recipient of the Governor's Volunteer Recognition Award.  
 
NHWL Board of Directors welcomes new Chair Joan Fossum and thanks outgoing Chair Ingrid Braulini for her fantastic leadership over the past 2 years.  The NH Women's Alliance (NHWA) welcomes new Chair Beth Richards and thanks outgoing Chair Gayle Kimball for her outstanding contributions over the past 2 years. Michele Talwani is the new Secretary for both the NHWA and NHWL and Rosamond Cain takes over as the NHWA Treasurer.
