NH Community Loan Fund Launches New Web Site, Social Media Strategy |
The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund recently launched a new Web site (www.communityloanfund.org) and a new blog-centered social media strategy.
Steve Varnum, the director of communications and marketing, said the Community Loan Fund’s expertise in the areas of affordable and manufactured housing, child care, small-business lending and mission-based investing is one of its most powerful assets. The blogs (located at http://www.communityloanfund.org/blog) will share and spread that knowledge and stir conversation about creating opportunity for New Hampshire’s families and communities, all while promoting the organization’s mission.
The site launched with 19 blog posts by nine different authors. More will be added in the coming weeks and months.
The blogs are just one of the interactive features on the new Community Loan Fund site. Visitors can comment on blog posts, rate the pages they visit, connect with the group’s work via several social media platforms, like Facebook and Twitter, and donate online. An “I want to” drop-down menu on every page will move visitors quickly to their destinations.
The Web launch comes near the end of a two-year rebranding project funded by the Ford Foundation. Varnum credited the creative team at Millennium Advertising, located in Manchester, for leading the creation of a “brand family” of images and messages that project the mission of the Community Loan Fund and connect its 10 programs. He also credited Lucidus Corporation and Communicators Group, both located in Keene, as essential partners in the new site’s vision, content and creation.
