The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, Americas Most Convenient Bank ®, continues its support of people with disabilities with a $15,000 donation to Moore Center Services, to be used for direct support training.

The funds pay the cost of the College of Direct Support, a cutting-edge online-based training curriculum for direct support workers. The training, developed by the University of Minnesota and licensed and administered by Moore Center Services in New England, is crafted to train enrollees in the latest best practices of the human services field.

Scholarships will be offered to those who would otherwise not have the means to access the College of Direct Support. TD Bank has been a major sponsor of the College of Direct Support since 2005.

Once again, with this generous donation, TD Bank has made it possible for Direct Support Professionals around the state of New Hampshire receive this important training, said Scott Trudo, Director of Workforce Development at Moore Center Services. We thank them for helping to create a professional, skilled workforce.

Moore Center Services serves people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders, senior citizens, children and the human services workforce in Greater Manchester.
