Makin' It Happen Coalition Awards 8 Mini Grants

The 8 recipients of the Makin' It Happen mini grant process were announced at the Coalition Management Team Meeting on November 10, 2009.  All 8 recipients will implement an evidence-based theory or practice in region H. The practices will aim to reduce underage use through one of three means: Increasing ones perception of harm due to alcohol, reducing one's access to alcohol, and addressing the social norms around alcohol.

The funded organizations are listed below which include a variety of EBI's (Evidence Based Interventions) that address the specific needs of this region. Congrats all!  Funding is anticipated to start December 1st, 2009.
