Concord, NH—The HNH Foundation announces the hiring of a new Program Officer for Children’s Health. Joining the staff is Ms. Patti Baum of Concord, NH. Ms. Baum has more than 20 years experience in health and social services and was most recently employed by the NH Department of Health and Human Services as a Health Promotion Manager where she assisted several chronic disease programs with primary prevention strategies. She has experience in all aspects of grantmaking, strategic planning, technical assistance, and a solid public health background. She also served as the administrator of a non-profit agency in Concord for many years. Ms. Baum has been instrumental in the development, planning, and implementation process of the NH Healthy Eating Active Living Initiative, a statewide plan to prevent and reduce overweight and obesity.
Ms. Baum holds a B.A. from New England College and completed Master’s level coursework in Public Administration through the University of NH. In addition, she has served on several committees in her community.
