Concord, NH – The Endowment for Health, New Hampshire’s largest health foundation, recently awarded more than $883,000 in grants. Awards were made to organizations for the resources necessary to forward health-related projects through planning, convening, technical assistance, research, public policy and support of strategic operations in New Hampshire. Many of these projects have statewide reach while others address need in targeted geographic areas of the state.
“Foundation support of health-related nonprofits is needed now more than ever,” said Mary Vallier-Kaplan, the Endowment’s vice president and chief operating officer. “Operating support for advocacy, capacity building and learning is especially critical. Many nonprofits need expert advice to help determine strategies to sustain their work during these challenging times. While our funds are more limited than in the past few years, the Endowment for Health Board stepped up to maintain our investments to help nonprofits to continue their important work.”
