The Board of Directors of ConcordTV, Concord's Community Access Channels, regretfully announces that Julienne Turner, Executive Director, will be resigning from her position at the end of June 2010 to assume the role of Executive Director for MVTV, the community television station in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Turner has been with ConcordTV for over three years and has worked in community television for 11 years. During her time at ConcordTV, the organization has grown tremendously, with Turner's focus having been on media education and outreach, increasing quality and expanding the volunteer base. "Under Julie's leadership, ConcordTV has developed into a first-class professional organization that has become a true asset to the Concord community. While we will miss Julie, we are thrilled for the great opportunity that she is undertaking at MVTV and wish her the greatest success," says Peter Thompson, ConcordTV Board Chairman. "I will miss ConcordTV a great deal but I'm confident that I am leaving it in a good place," says Turner. "I plan to keep in touch and look forward to watching the organization continue to grow." Turner's resignation is effective June 30, 2010. The Board of Directors will be conducting a search for her replacement in the coming weeks.
