Penacook, NH - The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA Board of Directors has appointed Heather Faria as the new Executive Director of the C-MCSPCA. Faria was formerly the Director of Marketing and Brand Management for Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. Her new responsibilities will include management of the shelter and its staff, as well as the development of a strategic plan, in conjunction with the board of directors, to build a new shelter on the SPCA's recently purchased property on Clinton Street and Silk Farm Road in Concord. She brings to her new position extensive experience in marketing and development garnered from work with creative marketing, nonprofit and sales organizations. Faria lives in Warner, New Hampshire with her husband, Kevin, their three children and Sophie, their rescue dog. The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA provides shelter and care for stray, abandoned, abused and surrendered animals, assists with animal control issues, and offers school programs, pet therapy visits, behavior consultations and low-cost rabies and microchip clinics. The shelter serves 39 communities and is located at 130 Washington Street in Penacook, NH. |
