Concord, NH - The NH Community Technical Colleges Foundation is pleased to announce thirteen recipients for the spring round of NASA/PSNH scholarships. The scholarship award is $1,500 for each student and is open to students who are enrolled at any of the seven NH Community Colleges who are pursuing a major in science, mathematics, math/science teacher education, and engineering. NASA strongly encourages under-represented and nontraditional student to apply for their scholarships.

From the Berlin Campus: Wayne Ainsworth (Whitefield), Amy K Hicks (Jefferson); From the Pease/Stratham Campus: John Clark (Kensington), Shain Eighmey (Barrington), Ryan Norton (Newmarket);
From the NHTI (Concord) Campus: Susmita Chakraborty (Pembroke), Kathleen Chartier (Nashua), Catherine Kilday (Canterbury), Nancy Lehoux (Portsmouth); David Price (Weare), Sheryl Strout-Gunes (Henniker), Kathleen Veilleux (Dunbarton), Kelley A. Wheeler-Morrissette (Manchester).
This scholarship program is made possible through a grant from NASA, the National Aeronautic Space Agency, and PSNH, Public Service Company of New Hampshire, who have partnered with the Foundation for over six years to support the Community Colleges’ programs. In those six years, this partnership has awarded over 245 scholarships through the Foundation. The Community College System is an affiliate of the NH Space Grant Consortium, whose objective is to promote programs related to aeronautics, astronautics, Earth science, space science and technology.
The mission of the Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation is to support the Community College System and make higher education more accessible. |
