Derry, NH - Community Caregivers of Greater Derry welcomed five new members to their Board of Directors in April. Caregivers, through a volunteer network, assist the elderly and disabled with services such as friendly visiting, grocery shopping, light chores, home repair and maintenance, and medical transportation. Services offered through Caregivers are vitally important as they allow individuals to maintain independence in the community and home environment. All services are free of charge. Mr. Edward Frost of Windham is the pastor at Journey Church (formerly Londonderry Church of the Nazarene). He is also the General Manager for Maxima Information Group. He will serve as the IT consultant for the agency and well as help them with their need to communicate more effectively with the area churches.
Mrs. Judy Moody of Derry is the former personnel and human resource director for the Windham-Pelham School District. She brings an in-depth knowledge of human resources, personnel matters, counseling and administrative skills.
Mrs. Nancy Dorner of Londonderry is a clinician at the Center for Life Management and former guidance counselor at Manchester High School West. She brings extensive background in mental health, interpersonal skills and the elderly.
Mrs. Gloria Fulmer of Londonderry is the Coordinator of Early Intervention and Outpatient Services for Easter Seals N.H. She brings extensive knowledge of board governance, community involvement and persons with developmental disabilities.
Mrs. Missy Haas of Londonderry is a former health educator who has spent the last several years as a volunteer in the Manchester Jewish Community including a recent term as President of the Board of Directors of Temple Adath Yeshurun.
