Manchester, NH - Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) was awarded the NHBR Business Excellence Award for Nonprofits.

“This award is a testament to the hard work of the Board and staff of Granite State Independent Living; who work everyday to fulfill the promise that everyone has the ability to be the most that they choose to be and disability should not be a barrier to accomplishment and achieving ones dreams,” said Clyde E. Terry, CEO.

The award recognizes the imagination, industriousness, innovation, achievements and dedication of local businesses. More than 300 people attended the award ceremony, which was held at C.R. Sparks in Bedford, NH.

“Under Clyde’s leadership, GSIL continues to tackle challenges head on and continually exceeds performance results from the previous year. As an organization, GSIL is considered a leader in its industry, able to offer progressive employee benefits and despite these tough economic times, has continued to grow,” said Charlie Sherman, emcee of the event.
