Dover, NH – The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire recently welcomed Ava Beaulieu of Amherst to its Board of Directors. Ms. Beaulieu is Director of Market Planning and Development for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where she is responsible for strategic and business planning, as well as business development. Prior to joining Harvard Pilgrim, she led the development of a vertically integrated system of care for Washington DC’s largest private hospital. Ms. Beaulieu holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Marymount University and BA from the University of Virginia. “Ava’s expertise in strategic and long-range planning will be very valuable to us as we move into our next phase as a fully statewide institution,” said Michael Kenison, chair of the Children’s Museum of NH Board of Directors. “The museum opened its expanded facility one year ago and has received tremendous response from nearly 130,000 visitors. We want to keep that momentum going in alignment with our education-based mission.” The not-for-profit Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is located at 6 Washington Street in Dover and offers two levels of hands-on, custom-created exhibits for children ages 1-12. Children can explore a wide range of subjects, from dinosaurs, music and aeronautics to world cultures, art and natural history.
