In December, Bonnie CLAC received an award honoring its commitment to supporting service members and their families from the Department of Defense. The award was presented by Ted Kehr, Field Chair of the New Hampshire Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), with James Goss, Executive Director of the New Hampshire ESGR Committee and Peter Merritt, Area Family Assistance Center Coordinator also in attendance.
"We at Bonnie CLAC share a deep sense of gratitude for the brave men and women serving our country at home and around the world," said CEO Terri Steingrebe. "We realize that their service often creates a significant strain on their families and loved ones, and we are committed to offering our services in support of them as well".
"Today, supportive employers are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation's National Guard and Reserve units," said Kehr."Bonnie CLAC joins a cadre of Fortune 500 companies, state and federal agencies and thousands of America's employers in demonstrating support for our armed forces"
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the law, and resolving conflicts through mediation. ESGR volunteers provide free education, consultation, and if necessary mediation for employers of Guard and Reserve employees. |
