Bedford, NH - The Animal Rescue League of NH announced that Karen Tebbenhoff and Dana Boucher are their two newest board members.
Karen Tebbenhoff joined the Animal Rescue League of NH Board of Directors in November, 2008. Karen is a New Hampshire native who currently lives in Bedford with her husband Peter, daughter Megan and two Golden Retrievers, Lucky and Max. Karen and her family have been ARL supporters for a number of years and Megan is counting down (3 more years) until she is old enough to begin volunteering there.
Karen holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UNH and an MBA with a focus on Marketing from SNHU. She worked in the high-tech world and for a global consulting organization for many years before shifting gears to focus on the non-profit world. Karen currently works as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. She’s an active walker and fundraiser for Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and she is eager to put her marketing and non-profit experience to use in helping to promote the ARL and all it does for the community.
Dana Boucher. Ms. Boucher, a Bedford Resident attended New England School of Art and Design in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied fine art and interior design. Following her studies, she became a salesperson and designer for Pompanoosuc Mills in Nashua, NH. Upon leaving Pompanoosuc Mills in 2006, Dana helped her husband, Tom Boucher, open their 6th restaurant (T-BONES & CACTUS JACK’S) in the lakes region. During the pre-opening, Dana worked as an artist and designer, painted three life-sized murals; lead the interior design team which created and designed the layouts, furniture, lighting and décor. In 2008, Dana began her own art business where she offers a variety of mediums and projects including wall murals, whimsical watercolors and t-shirt designs. (www.BreathOfFreshArt.com)
In addition to caring for her two-legged family, she spends her spare time caring for three canine family members; a Bearded Collie named Bonzy, a rescue Bull-Dog named Moe and a foster Malti-Poo named Brady. Ms. Boucher also volunteers for the Bedford Dog Park Committee for the Bedford Parks and Recreation.
