Portsmouth - The Portsmouth Historical Society recently appointed Maryellen Burke to fill the nonprofit's new executive director position. The creation of the new position answers the need for a full-time senior executive to lead the organization and the fund-raising campaign now under way for its Discover Portsmouth Center.

The Champions in Action® program provides financial, volunteer and PR support to small nonprofits doing big things in the community.  Justine Roberts named Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire
Dover - The board of directors at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire has named Justine Roberts of Cambridge, MA the museum’s new Executive Director. Justine was chosen for the position following an extensive national search and she succeeds museum founder Denise Doleac, who resigned as Executive Director at the end of 2010.
